Atlas Grove Properties

Honestly speaking, my husband and I together with our daughter who was reporting to Howard University really enjoyed our stay here. Michael is amazing host for those 6 days we stayed in his English Basement apt. Very kind, respectful, warm hearted and welcoming. Very organize apt with magazines for places to tour around, restaurant menus, full kitchen and also very cozy and comfortable beds. Also there is house rules of course to follow whichI respect that because some people can be annoying. I have a lot to mentioned but I really recommend Michael’s Basement if you are coming to visit DC for vacation.

I’d give this a 5+ rating. Comfortable apartment with every amenity you could possibly need. Ample supplies of coffee & tea, pots & pans, towels & blankets! A cozy & welcoming place with responsive hosts. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Michael, the owner was very helpful and personable. He was quick to respond to any questions we had. Also I had left an item behind and he went out of his way to send it back to me!

Host was very communicative/responsive, provided lots of great local info. Apartment was very clean and exactly as listed. Had a great time!
