My experience with Assurance Realty has been extremely frustrating and unsatisfactory. On April 12, 2025, the maintenance crew entered my condominium to assess water infiltration on my enclosed patio, where the floor meets the wall. They applied a white sealant substance without first discussing the product or method with me. When I asked which brand they used, my messages went unanswered. The sealant appeared to have been applied over dirt and debris and has since cracked and peeled. After placing a new work order to have the sealant cleaned from my tile, I followed up multiple times by phone and through the MELD website over the next two months, but I received no responses. Tile experts I consulted later told me the substance appeared to be Flex Seal based on its appearance and perform

The property manager Ann Wesly thinks she can do whatever she wants. Delays repairs. She doesnt get proper estimates. She is the worst. I hope our h.o.a. looks for a new company. Today they came to my property and broke in from the outside deck and left a mess. My insurance company reviewed the complaint and told them this is their responsibility. The area needs work delayed. My stairs took 1.5 years to repair. Ann wesly is the worst. They dont return calls. Im glad to see im not the only one who sees Ann's the worst.

Absolutely terrible!! I live at South Hill station and we have been without internet for weeks! Apparently they do not realize how vital internet is for college students and professors (considering the building is on campus the majority of the residents are affiliated with UK). Not to mention the wifi was out for all of the reading days before finals, and finals week. They decided to switch our wifi instead of paying extra for Spectrum. They also failed to realize that there would be a period (several weeks) in which the building would have zero internet access when switching providers. They received several emails and calls regarding this situation and it took them two weeks to give us any sort of viable answer. I would like to address some of the negative reviews regarding recent internet outages - As an owner and landlord at SHSL, communication is a responsibility between owner and tenant. The outage was due to the current carrier terminating service on a hard deadline, without offering any month to month options, the only way to keep coverage was with a 5yr contract and increase in the billing for the same exact service for an ADDITIONAL $16250/month. The new carrier ran into construction permit issues with the city and therefore there is a reduction in service and some outage. None of these things can be attributed to Assurance- all decisions to change service were made by the Condo Association, made up of officers elected by Owners. After looking at multiple properties, Chrystal helped us find the perfect home for us as a family that is safe and quiet and meets ALL of our needs & even most wants! She was and still is amazing to work with and is very responsive which is a huge change from our previous property management company that we moved from. The maintenance man, Shawn has been outstanding with coming out to make changes and to ensure that all of our issues that have been found are addressed and fixed as quickly as possible. He goes above and beyond every time we have an interaction, he deserves a raise as he even made two trips to Lowe's to make sure our kids were safe in one day for missing parts!
