I moved into 86 N 300 W for the 2023-24 school year. Before I moved in I asked to see pictures or a floor plan of this house and asset wouldn’t provide any of those. It was an affordable place that my friend and I could move into together so we stuck with it. My room was in the basement and when I moved in it smelled awful! It felt super humid in the basement and smelled like mildew. There were also dead bugs and old tenants belongings everywhere. The AC was broken as well and the company tried to get us to fix it. It took nearly a month to get them to come fix it. The house is very old and definitely has the “landlord special” where everything is painted over. After 2 years, I am still thinking about how this managment company screwed me over. They charged us an extra month because we dropped our keys off on a Saturday (they told us to do it), then they told us 3 months later we didn't sign a paper (again they weren't there). I work at a mangament company now and can see a clear difference of quality. Any PMI franchise would be better. I can't wait to see what they respond back with :)

Don’t ever deal with this company they are frauds. They charge you for things without telling you what they’re charging you for. When you ask what they’re charging you for they send you to collections instead of justifying what they’re charging you for. They’re rude when you go into personally talk to them. They are the absolute worst people I’ve ever dealt with in my life. they don’t return phone calls they don’t answer any requests. All they do is charge charge charge and then send you to collections when you’re trying to find out what they’re charging you for. They literally charged me $300 for two missing lightbulbs. Edited in response to property's reply: See attached email proof that after my daughter was verbally refused a tour, she emailed asking for dimensions and pictures, yet was only sent two pictures (room and bathroom) as mentioned in my original post. Again, not of her unit and none of shared spaces. Also, I am glad they acknowledged that they "limit" tours for privacy because they lied and responded to the attorney stating they allow tours prior (see attached). In addition, if they did treat after my daughter showed them the infestation, they have yet to provide her proof of such. Not to mention, SUU has now removed all Asset Management listings on their Student Housing site referencing that they have had multiple complaints about the agency. So take that for what it is worth. _____________

My experience with Asset Management was not amazing while living at willow brook. Anytime I had any contact with anyone at the office, I was met with coldness and skepticism. I reported problems with the apartment while living there, and things were rarely fixed. When I put in my deposit, I asked if I could tour or look at the apartment to see if I could get a sense of what it was like. Asset Management refused and told me I should knock on someone’s door and ask instead. That seems unprofessional?
