Ashbury Woods

If I could give 0 stars I would. After touring and meeting with one of the women in the office, I brought up my credit during this and was told that that wouldn’t matter. Me and my partner applied, paid 200 dollars and was strung along for about 5 days. I wish they would have just been honest up front. A waste of my time, when I’m already needing to be out of my apartment by the 5th of dec. if you have issues with your credit, don’t attempt to move here. You just get put through bs. Now I’m out of 200 dollars 🤷🏾‍♀️

If I could give 0 stars, I would, I went to tour a 3 bedroom apartment today. And when I told her that I had a service animal, she informed me that I would have to send paperwork into a Doctor to have filled out which is against the law. So now I will be taking legal action because by law you do not have the right to ask for more paperwork.Or different paperwork than what the dog is already issued with as a service animal. So if this has happened to anyone that rents an apartment through ashbury apartments, Just know what she's done Is illegal and you have grounds to take legal action. Which i will be. Because I am fed up with the amount of people in the state of alabama that try to violate the laws and your rights when it comes to a service animal.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living at Ashbury Woods! From the very beginning, everyone has been kind and professional. The maintenance team has been super helpful anytime I needed something taken care of! The apartment sizes are very generous and the community is so clean. You have access to Town Madison, the baseball stadium, the new I-565 ramp and can be anywhere in Huntsville super quickly! Overall, fantastic and safe apartments in a great location and I highly recommend to everyone!

Update : 5/22/2025 ** I originally left a mixed review, however after being here for four months I’d like to update it. These apartments are really nice. Gated community within walking distance to the Zierdt Publix. We take stroller walks all the time to get our groceries! Such a nice luxury. The pool also just opened, it’s well maintained! I’ve lived in a lot of apartments but these are by far the nicest. We had our first apartment flood, the hot water heater leaked. They responded promptly to get us moved into a new unit because the carpet was completely soaked. The leasing office staff was quick and stayed late to accommodate us moving. Maintenance was over 5 seconds after I made the call. I’m thankful they helped us move our heavy furniture too so it wasn’t just sitting in the water.

I haven’t lived in these apartments two months yet, and I’m already having issues with the AC. I’ve called 5 times now because the air has gone out in my apartment. I live on the 3rd floor, so I’m used to it being a little warm at certain times of the day. It’s an older apartment building, so I was understanding the first time I had to call. Once it was clear there was an issue with my unit it should’ve been fixed and not just patched up. It’s currently 86 degrees outside and 80 degrees in my apartment. I have two children that I have had to send to their grandparents because they can’t sleep comfortably in their own room, due to the heat. After the 5th call about the air, a portable ac unit was finally installed in one out of the two bedrooms in my apartment. I’m all for saving money and
