Ascent Apartments

This is the worst place to live! Especially if you live in the building 1020. Music blaring throughout the night, people and kids screaming in the hallways, you have to do a money order or go through the app to pay rent that rarely works, trash everywhere, nobody is ever in the office, I’ve been here 6 months and the door code and laundry code has been changed 4 times (and if you get off after hours of the office when they EMAIL you it’s been changed, good luck bc you get an answering service), it’s always difficult to turn into the property bc there is an entry and exit bc other tenants don’t listen to the rules, laundry room is always unattended so you have to pull out others people’s laundry that’s been done for over an hour, I could go on and on but in short/long, never move here!

I have had the worst experience with this company. I’m close to moving forward with legal action because what these people have done is illegal. Long story short (context) my dad William made a payment online for a 1bd apartment unit number on the website was 1010-204. My dad paid $200 dollars to hold the unit and $19.95 for the application fee. This was done end of June. My dad’s application was approved, he was sent a lease with a move in date of 07/18/2025. My dad signed the lease online and he was created the expectation that he would be ready to move in on the date stated on the lease of July 18th. He paid a deposit on a moving company, he had gave his landlord a move out notice of 07/18 and he also purchased some furniture to have it delivered to his new apartment on 07/18. The night

SOLDIERS/AIRMEN, DO NOT MOVE HERE! I was up to date on my rent and they were having issues with their utilities payment system. Therefore, I was not able to pay that portion till the end of my lease. I had been to the office multiple times requesting to pay utilities before I moved out (I didn't want a surprise debt or interest gained on top of that), and during my last week there, the woman at the front office finally said I could pay my last three previous months, and the current month I was in, would be paid from my security deposit. I moved out after my lease thinking I was good to go. She gave me completely falsified information and after I moved out, I was bombarded by their partner debt collector. The Too Long - Didn't Read: You might think the low price is too good to be true and you'd be partially right. It is a nice apartment with a proactive management team at a good price however bring body armor if you plan on walking/doing anywhere at night. (Read below for more details) The good: The apartment (The room, not the grounds or apartment building) itself is very well kept and appliances are up to date including a decently nice electric stove and oven, fridge, and dishwasher. I lived here from 1981 - 86. Loved my studio with it’s mountain view’s. There was a pool, & a clubhouse where mgmt. would have parties for the residents for every holiday. It’s a shame to hear that the neighborhood has declined. Used to be totally safe. My rent was $230 a month which included everything but the phone!!!
