I’ve lived in this place since January 2022. There have been many problems and some solutions over the years. Some troublemakers (lease violator/criminals) were recently removed from the building. There are still many defective outside door closers that allow the doors to slam loudly! This is especially bad when it gets windy outside, which is frequent in Vegas. There’s also a lot of cronyism and selective enforcement of rules. Most of my complaints over the years have been ignored. Most problems are caused by poor building management.

Our Property Manager, Lacie Polk, is simply excellent. It does not matter how busy she is, and she IS busy, she takes care of business. We NEVER wait for a response from her. She is consistent. When we need something taken care of, it gets taken care of in a timely manner. She is also very friendly and approachable. She will always take a moment to say hello. Ovation is very lucky to have someone so professional and terrific at her job. She knows what she is doing. And frankly, as residents, we are very lucky to have her as our Property Manager, too.

Lacie the Leasing Office Manager & Iesha the front desk receptionist both went out of their way to assist me in getting my phone service transferred from Verizon to Mint mobile phone service. I switched because the rent was raised again this year and I needed to find ways to cut back on my other expenses to have enough to pay my rent being on disability. It took me a few hours on and off of one of the office phones yesterday and today to get the right Mint operator on the phone that knew how to help me finish activating my transferred phone service. I kept getting put on hold at mint mobile yesterday when my phone stopped being able to make calls yesterday during the transfer process. This is the reason I had to ask Lacie and Iesha if I could use one of their phones since I couldn’t us

I have lived here since they opened. It’s ok. But this past Sunday I had what I perceived to be an emergency. I began to smell smoke and I got a little dizzy and saw a little haze, but saw no fire. I called and left emergency messages. 40 minutes later maintenance called and told me I was smelling other residents cooking, I told them I know the difference and explained how I felt. He said he would come check it out but he never came or called back to check on me, so I guess it’s about the money for apartment rather than the residents. I had to leave and go to my daughters home.

I've been a resident here for 3 years now, and I have one major complaint. I park near stairwell number 3 in the rear right of the building there is no access to the ramp when I'm pulling my wagon full of groceries, I have to lift it over the rocks and that's not safe because the rocks are loose and sometimes have pet surprises. Sometimes, I'm able to open the trash ben area and pull my wagon through but not always, plus it's not health. So I would like for someone to take note of this comment and see if it's possible to get a clear opening to pull my wagon through besides between the cars and lifting it over the curves.
