Arena Lofts | Haymarket

I have been living at the Arena Lofts for the last 14 months. This review is based on one of the studio floor plans. Surprisingly there is a large amount of space in their studio apartments. The one window in my apartment is well insulated and does a good job at drowning out most noise from the street. The aesthetic of the kitchen is great, but there is a lack of kitchen counter space and a lack of kitchen cabinets as well. The bathroom has a large shower with fixtures that have multiple spray settings. This I really like! Also includes a front loading washer and dryer in the bathroom. The major complaint that I have with the property is the lack of sound proofing between rooms. I've been a resident in these apartments for about nine months. They are newly constructed, conveniently located, and targeted to adult professionals. You do pay a premium for the location in the Haymarket area. The apartments are clean and have a nice modern 'industrial' aesthetic. However, the finishes are not high end. For example, the flooring is a faux wood linoleum, the cabinets are fiberboard, and the molding is plastic. I have a hard time believing that the finishes will stand the test of time, especially in an apartment. In general the apartments are quiet. Not because the apartments are particularly well sound insulated but because the residents are generally older. I've lived here for a little while now and it's an unbelievable facility. Not only is the location fantastic, the amenities and aesthetic of the building are amazing!

Good location, reasonable price for a one bedroom apartment in Lincoln compared to other parts of the city, especially if you work downtown.

Just moved in to Arena Lofts. Love the neighborhood and the building. Great service from the building manager and the maintenance team. Excellent responses to my every need.
