Apple Village

*updated 8/16. DO NOT MOVE HERE. IF YOU ARE SECTION 8 LOOK ELSEWHERE. TREAT TENANTS LIKE DIRT. Every new manager comes in with a set of rules and and tries to do whatever they can to invade privacy and make these people feel as poor as they are. Apple village themselves make this place overly awful. They can't keep staff. They try to control their tenants like cattle. It's really sad. This place used to have community meetings and now its just corporate letters and demeaning attitudes. There is a reason they're being sued by their former manager. I feel bad for the people who live here. What could be a beautiful community is usually turned upside down by management and the really nosy elderly building. Small, safe community off Exit 44 Rt. 128 North. Five minutes away, by car, to shopping malls, grocery stores Market Basket, Whole Foods, Shaw's, fast food restaurants, & more. Apartments are comfortable, and well-maintained. Public areas are clean, & safe. There's a community pool with lifeguards & recently refurbished basketball court. Staff are helpful & readily available. Overall, a very nice place to live.

My mother in law lived here but she recently passed away suddenly and the staff at this place told us we had less than 2 weeks to empty appartment or they will do it. Well while planning funeral services I happen to look in the cameras we had in the appartment and we noticed maintenance looking through my mother in law things and planning on what they wanted to take with them. To even top things they did not fully refund her security deposit and charged rent for an extra 2 weeks even though we had moved all her stuff out before the end of the month. So they charged 2 weeks extra cause it took them that long to process the end of her lease. If you can avoid it do not have your loved ones live here. This should be a negative -5 rating.

My grandmother's window has been leaking since July. She is 85 and the damage to area caused her blinds to fall and hit her in the face. When it rains she has to carry trays full of water to her bathroom so that the water doesn't leak into the apartment below her. I also found out someone's son tried to light part of the building on fire and now the residents don't have access to the trash after 4pm or on weekends, this is absurd.
