DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Under their new ownership, they are horrible. Horrible quality and horrible to work with. They don't respond about any issues you have. All windows had to be redone because there were gaps and they were crooked - fortunately we finally got them to do that. They flaunt a "custom cabinet shop," but we finally got them to pay a company to restain all of our brand new cabinets after they originally arrived completely streaky and the wrong color. They obviously have no one working in a quality control department. There are nail pops everywhere still that they won't address. My husband and bought an apex home in 2009 and we loved it. It was quality. We took.a tour in the factory before we decided to buy. When our house was delivered we were delighted. No one would ever know this was not a stick built home. We had a problem.with lenolium,so.we had home delivered without flooring. We did all the wood flooring,and tileing ourselves.picked out whst.we liked and went.to work. We also opted to stain our wood molding and window frames etc.. so we had it NOT PAINTED WHITE. I've read the reviews and noticed that the more recent that people worked with Apex,the less satisfied they were. But people like me going back 15-16 were very happy. What happen at apex?

I just read some of the reviews and I want to cry. I wish I had read them before I bought an Apex home. My contractor took pictures of the model we wanted and sent the floor plan. The house is not completed. It seems they took short cuts. There are no water faucets outside. We asked for a wheelchair accessible shower. Its not. They didn't put a door into the master bedroom. Instead you walk through a hall pass the laundry room and into the master bedroom. There is a pocket door before the laundry room. Who thought this was okay. Again reading some of these comments I want to cry. And the people who left 2 word comments are you real? My house is still not done but I will keep y'all up to date. B

We have been in our Apex home for 5 years. The front just fell off the second bathroom sink cabinet. The other flaws have presented themselves long ago. The house has 2 siding doors. There are no wind baffles in the tracks. Found out when wasps were getting into the house. Surprise, you could see outside. Little annoying things, bubbles in the vinyl flooring and a small chunk of something under one of the planks, they didn’t want to pull up the floor to fix so it remains. Bedroom carpet extends past the doorway. Windows that don’ t work, siding falling off in the first year. Should have been clued in when we went to install the shelves in the upper kitchen cabinet and they were jammed into the cabinet and required the builder to come and remove them and cut to size.
