I would strongly caution anyone considering this lender for a time-sensitive real estate transaction. During a time where user reviews can transparently help future clients make better decisions, it’s important to describe when a service is exceptionally bad or good. The buyer’s lender (Anchor Mortgage) had ample time to properly approve the loan and be ready to close, yet mistakes with the appraisal required the loan to be resubmitted to underwriting, causing significant delays. The “clear to close” took multiple days to be delivered to our seller’s attorney, further delaying the transaction which ultimately delayed our closing. Communication throughout the process was poor and often came at the very last hour of the day, as well as the very last 2 days of closing but more importantly th
