UPDATE: 2023 Before Sam Cassar companies purchased our apartment complex, we had reliable, knowledgeable, responsive management. In Spring of 2022, Cassar bought our complex. My observation of the first month: they let the grass grow to approximately 8" long. They did not retain the service of our (then, current) landscapers. Instead, they planted their on-site maintenance guy on a mini tractor intended for a small back yard. It was ridiculous, and a portent of things yet to come. Finally, they had the sense to bring back the professional landscapers. It was very shoddy planning which then suggested a very cheap mindset. In August of 2022 our complex was struck by a tornado. Honestly the complex itself of great, neighbors are great, the views of the lake are great, location is great, management is great, the maintenance guy Chris is super nice and helps out when needed. The downfalls of the place though made me take a star away. When it starts to get cold out the heat gets turned on, we have to have the windows open in November-April because the heat stays on… yesterday was a disgusting 🤢 75 degrees 🤢 in my apartment when we got home. There is no way of turning the heat off - it is “free” and included in rent. Honestly I would rather pay to heat my apartment to avoid it being almost 80 degrees in here. Can’t even cook without it feeling like a sauna in here. It’s dry and miserable. Also… there should be a quarter machine for the washer and driers. Oh and HUGE

Strongly recommend staying away from this place. The management team in my experience is unprofessional, and they demanded multiple full banking statements for the application which is unusual considering their exclusive focus on credit, unduly intrusive, and questionable regarding FCRA rule compliance. The apartments are also not as advertised. The fixtures were very old, windows were in poor condition and the apartment smelled like musty, mold or something wet.

Heat is always full blast in the winter and uncontrollable. Literally 90 degrees all the time had to constantly have windows open and fans going to not be sweating. Go 11 months no working dishwasher and no working ac til 2 months before we moved out. Outdated and falling apart. This place sucks.

Most unprofessional place I have ever rented from. Very unprofessional management and not worth the money. Apartments are very outdated. Need major updates. You can tell they just do not care but want to take your money, lots of it! Air conditioners in the wall are from the 1980s and do not work. We complained about that since day one and they just say “yep it’s working”. Crazy neighbors across and above you smoke so much it seeps into your own apartment and makes you sick where we had to buy an exapensive air purifier to try to stand living in our apartment we paid 725.00 a month for a 1 bedroom! I would NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone and never anyone to rent from Erie Investments! You can find more updated places for the same price!
