I sold a lot and Petra was the closing agent. The purchase contract had the buyer paying the title insurance and the closing statement I signed and FedEx back reflected the contract. Yet when my proceeds check and closing statement was mailed to me it was changed and I was charged the title insurance. I brought this to Petra's attention, and since they never charged the buyer the title insurance instead of the closing company eating the costs they decided it was my responsibility. She provided a closing statement that I did not sign and I showed her I had the proof in the email closing package of the closing statement I signed not the one she fraudulently provided after the fact.
