Truex Preferred Construction

Truex completed a project at our home. Part of the plan was completed by their team and the rest of the project was managed by them. We found the work to be quality, and the sub contractors were managed efficiently. Our budget goals were optimized. Everyone who came to our home acted professionally and the Truex team customer service was excellent. I would recommend their services and use them again for future projects.

I would never recommend this Truex Preferred Construction. My husband, a disabled veteran, and I recently had a contract with Bill Truex and his business Truex Preferred Construction in Englewood, FL for an addition to our home. We began the process in February of 2023. They finally began to break ground in March of 2024 (how an experienced contractor took 13 months to break ground is still mind boggling) for the project and immediately committed egregious errors, and acted counter to County procedures and regulations which have caused even more delay to our project. From my experience, he lacks integrity, operates his business irresponsibly, doesn't seem to have a grasp of State and County regulation and procedures in the State of Florida. We used Truex Preferred Construction to build our new home. I strongly recommend them. Started build on 10/08/16 (purchased last week of August), moved in 04/03/17. I cannot tell you how absolutely happy we are with the quality of our home. Even other builder's contractors stopped by as we were building to say how Bill Truex is the best builder in the area. They pointed out things with our house to the one next door that was going up at the same time to show the difference. Seriously give them a call, you won't regret it.
