Customer Reviews
At the end of a lease, tenants should evaluate any move-out charges carefully rather than accepting them at face value. Legitimate claims should be supported by transparent evidence, so it is reasonable to request itemized invoices, written explanations, and dated photographs that clearly link each charge to specific conditions in the unit. To better understand how property condition and replacement costs are often assessed, tenants may consult publicly available reference materials, such as HUD’s Special Claims Processing Guide (HSG-06-01). Although such guidance does not control private rental agreements, it outlines widely recognized concepts — including depreciation and the treatment of normal wear and tear — that can provide helpful context when reviewing fees. The apartment has great value for money — water and gas are included, free street parking is available, there’s a bus stop right downstairs, and it’s close to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment manager is also excellent.
So I've been living for a 6 months now, the water pressure was low in the beginning, but after few months there is literally no water, I have to wait a week just to do dishes or take a shower. I have talked to the other residents and they said that the water issue was the same last year. I have complained so many times but the only response I get is that its water company, I understood that in the beginning but they do nothing after that. We pay our rent on time, water is the basic necessity that should be provided according to the lease, their rent is not affected but only residents are suffering, left own their own and that's not fair. Update: They installed the new water pipes, and we didn’t have problem with water after that. However, they should improve the customer service and com
This is the worst apartment building I have come across in Pittsburgh. Tenants are on their own when it comes to hot water, and functioning of other basic utilities, even though the lease clearly mentions that it is landlord's duty to provide for proper functioning water, electricity and other basics. Calling management to get anything fixed is liking reaching a dead-end. Again, worst place to live in Pittsburgh area. DONT RENT.
I've contacted them at least 3 times to make an appointment to see a unit to no avail. My son managed to have a talk with some lady who told him that there is only zoom viewing. Even that, she has failed to send a link. This is a clear reflection on how unresponsive they are even for small requests let alone major ones listed by other tenants. Based on the recent bad reviews and my take on their handling, I will not rent from them.
