Amaze @ NoDa Apartments in Charlotte

I love living here!! The office staff is very friendly and the technicians are just wonderful and attentive! I always feel at home and the staff makes me feel so welcome! If I ever have any issues the staff makes sure I’m taken care of! Every time I see the these maintenance guys at the houseI always see they running around and working hard!!! Jeffrey, Malik and the rest of the team are so kind and helpful!! They responded quickly and made my move in a breeze. I’m so glad I moved in! 🤘🏻

I moved in when it was new, It was quiet, smell was welcoming, always clean, vacuumed daily, they had cleaners daily keeping the hallways clean, fresh. I enjoyed living there for i believe 3years. The environment outside was kept clean always. They organized events so neighbors could enjoy and get to know each other. Its a no smoking building but ofcourse, there were unruly tenants who decided to smoke weed in their apartments, then we tenants started dumping all sorts of furniture in the garbage room and there would be barely no room left for trash bags. My neighbor would have his tv so loud at times, i would move to a different room. They had courtesy people you could call for stuff like this. Overall, i loved staying there despite construction that should be done by now from a building

So this is my second review and now that I have moved out I feel like I should say a bit more. Malik was the only reason anything got done at amaze. Almost as if he was the only worker and I always was so grateful for him being so consistent with getting things fixed that needed fixed. My praise goes right to Malik. On the other hand, they can’t keep the place staffed and I’d assume that’s because they aren’t paying their workers what they deserve. Malik truly was the only maintenance worker for a long time and you could see how tired he was running none stop day in and day out. My sister and I moved out after living there for 2.5 years. We always kept up with maintenance and keeping the place clean. When we moved out, they took our entire deposit and now we have to pay an extra $180 be

Overall, I do really enjoy living here. It’s a great location, close to work and entertainment. It is quiet and the grounds are well maintained. The pool is a total party scene on the weekends and the package system is poorly managed. Management could do a better job at answering emails. Maintenance does respond to issues timely. It is clean and there aren’t any bugs.

This complex is an absolute joke; a mixture between a frat house and weed farm. I received a “Lease Violation” today conveniently the day after they offered me to sign another lease at a discounted rate, which I declined. I would never sign again in this complex; a few weeks ago we had someone shooting mortar fireworks off the roof of my building at 2 am, but I got a violation for excessive noise from my “pets” which are actually registered service animals (they have also been here for 14 months already under my current lease with no violations). This place is filthy between the trash shoots always being clogged causing the hallways to smell like garbage because the trash room is FULL of trash bags, complex grounds full of dog poop, and weekend parties in the community room.
