Poor customer service. Unexperienced sales personnel. Shea Homes provide only 2-year structural warranty all other major builders provide 10-year structural warranty. This speak lot about builder. Be careful as once you give the initial deposit, you will lose it if you don’t buy the house regardless of the reason, as technically they are not accountable for any changes. I think the overall is buyer beware. if you put in a lot of time and efforts dealing with this home builder, make sure you do a very THOROUGH inspection. So, if you are shopping for homes, not too deep with Shea, consider other builders, consider other options and designs. And if you really choose to buy in, make sure you buy with your eyes wide-open, as buyers- beware.

Absolutely beautiful homes, that are exceptionally well built. The neighborhood is selling fast, but I am going to check out all the Shea Homes neighborhoods to find the right fit.

Very nice homes

Very unpleasant experience to buy and build new house with shea homes at Amara Chase, Huntersville. We came to see the model of the new house. Representative in sale office of the company told us that if we decide to build a new house, we can negotiate a price of the house make an offer. From our experience, we know that large production builders do not negotiate a price and do not accept any offers. But she confirmed that yes, we can negotiate a price and make an offer. We invited our realtor and Leah once again said that we can make an offer. We started the process to build new home.
