Alta Apartments

The apartments themselves are constructed very poorly, they may look nice at first glance, but the floors are soft and scratch easily, and cleaning them takes forever due scuffing. The lease states to use felt pads, which is helpful for furniture but not when you scuff the floors easily by walking on them. I had to call maintenance multiple times over leaking ceilings (in a brand new building mind you). They had to come in and repair the ceiling over multiple days. Thankfully their maintenance guys are pretty quick and great people to work with. They are pet friendly but I wouldn't live here if you have pets, because they send out many annoying emails regarding pets. I never had a problem with any of the pet owners. Justin the repair guy is awesome. He's always professional and friendly, and comes promptly when we have something that needs fixing. He really looks out for whats best for the tenant, and doesn't throw on unnecessary charges if he can help it. Thanks for everything, Justin. You've made living her a better experience for sure.

It is our first week in the Alta apartments and we absolutely adore it. Landlords are very friendly and communicate quickly. Showed up to the apartment in very great/clean shape. Can’t wait to make it our home

My girlfriend and I were planning on staying for another year here, but they raised the rent about a month and a half before our lease ended. They require a 60 day notice to move which did not give us enough time to say we were moving so we were essentially forced into either paying a lot more for a 1 month lease, or just bite the bullet and pay the extra rent. There is 0 reason why rent should have gone up. They have done absolutely nothing in the last year to raise the value. I guess some painted AC units raises rent $200 for every tenant. Do not move here.

I needed to break my lease early (60 day notice was given). At this point, the unit was open to be re-rented. I paid rent for the month even though I was not living there as stated in our lease. It wasn't until we called Alta to ask about our apartment getting rented did they let us know someone would be renting it that month. Therefore, they would have taken our rent for that month and the next until our lease was up had we not asked. Then, they over charged us by nearly $600 regarding our move out and we originally only got 25% of our security deposit back. Again, had we not asked, they would have taken our money. Hopefully they just mishandled our situation and not every residents. I would personally find a different place to rent unless you're okay with the above information. Giving an
