Allister North Hills Apartments

I have lived at Allister for a year now and would continue to live here, if I wasn't being transferred out of state for work. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this complex. I have mostly worked with Noverlys and Jonathan from the leasing office and they are both great assets to Allister. The whole leasing staff has been responsive and accommodating whenever I had questions or concerns. They do a fantastic job of building a safe, quiet, and welcoming community. They always greet you with a friendly face and are always putting on fun events at the complex and off site. I've had a couple minor fixes needed by maintenance and every experience with them has been top notch. They are respectful, responsive, and very communicative. We have been here at Allister for just about a month and from the first contact with Jonathan it has been smooth sailing. He has been amazing and without him we may not have chosen this community. He is professional, courteous, and more importantly answered ALL my questions which BTW were many. As far as the property itself it is immaculate. The grounds are well maintained and people even actually pick up after their pets which was not the case at our last place. The apartment was clean and ready for our move in when our day came. Jonathan even came over and helped me get the thermostat off of the program setting. Only thing I wish is that the appliances were a little more up to date but is not a game changer. I had a fantastic experience with the leasing team here. Jonathan was relaxed, clear, and genuinely helpful—explaining pricing, specials, fees, and amenities without any pressure. He gave a thorough tour of multiple units and made sure I had plenty of time to compare my options and decide what worked best for me. I visited a couple more times to see the unit in daylight and take measurements, and every visit was accommodated. Even when Jonathan was off or at another property, my questions were answered quickly, and the application process went smoothly. Everyone on staff has been friendly and responsive, and the residents I met seemed genuinely happy here. I’m really excited to move in!

I’ve lived here for about a year and a half so I think I can be fairly objective. The apartments are beautiful and spacious for a very reasonable price in North Hills. I love that I’m able to walk to shops and the neighborhood the apartment is in is lovely. I also really appreciate that Kane has private security on the property monitoring the complex at night. Overall, I have had a great time living here. However, recently my heat/air wasn’t working and I was not able to get ahold of anyone at Allister. I called several times, left a voice message, and sent an email- and no one got back to me. I submitted a maintenance request and it was taken care of but I was concerned for my cat’s safety as I had come home the previous day and found my apartment to be an unsafe temperature for my pet. As close to perfect as you may realistically find. Management is responsive and helpful, especially Jonathan Gay. The area is beautiful and well situated. People and friendly and there are many pets around. Community areas are great, and there is a sense of community. I've lived here for about a year now and am in the process of renewing. As always, there are some cons. The inside of the apartments can be a bit cheap, especially the blinds. You have to pay a monthly fee for trash, but have to walk it to trash/recycling yourself; other apartments charge similarly, but have trash pickup. There is plenty of parking, but no assigned spaces afaik (could be wrong) and they are all outdoor. The gym is mostly good, but could use a few less cardio and more leg machines. The mail room is not great
