Allen Meadows Apartments

I’ve been living in a Barrington Residential property in Syracuse, NY, and my experience has been terrible. The tenants above me have four children, and there is constant running, jumping, and screaming—day and night. I have repeatedly reported these issues to on-site management and corporate offices, but nothing has been done. Management has been extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and incompetent when handling complaints. They only intervene during “quiet hours,” meaning the majority of the noise during the day is ignored. They claim this is “normal apartment living,” but this is completely unacceptable. This is a clear violation of a tenant’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their home under New York law (Real Property Law §235-b). My health, sleep, and ability to enjoy my home have b

I been here for a couple months now. I can honestly say that it's a great place for a temporary stay. The office manager Mary has been helpful for the most part. Some issues has been resolved in a timely manner. Maintenance has been on point with all issues. Met some great friendly people only problem is my neighbor and her kids are extremely loud all day and night. The kids run, ride bikes, screaming whatever it is kids do they do. I TOTALLY understand kids gonna be kids, but this is waaay out of control. No respect for her neighbors who works countless hours to come to a zoo. There's no consideration or reason with her. It's mentally draining, loud, disrespectful and inconsiderate.

We’ve lived at Allen Meadows for just over a year and I can honestly say that it’s been great. Maintenance and office management is always friendly and willing to help. Mary is always willing to answer questions and treats the tenants like family. I feel safe here, and it’s so convenient to any store you need. The apartments are clean, and the common grounds are always well maintained. In just over a year, we haven’t had any maintenance issues but per our neighbor the maintenance guys are always really quick at solving the issue!

I'm staying here another year here at Allen Meadows. Throughout my stay, I haven't had any issues. There's plenty of parking, quiet buildings, and new windows that make for great insulation in the winter. The maintenance and office staff are friendly and attentive. The office manager, Mary, is particularly accommodating and pleasant if any assistance is needed. Overall, very pleased with this apartment complex.
