In Q4 2023, Allen Construction gutted a ground floor bathroom for a tub to shower conversion. The job was initially successful. However in September 2025, there was water damage in our home that was traced to 2 leaks in the copper pipes that had been soldered during the renovation. Water damage requires urgency to remediate and I had to hire plumbers and a restoration company to address. I did contact the contractor to share what happened and a plumber from his staff (not the one that did the work) came to look at it. My insurance company had their law firm send out a demand letter to Mr. Allen address my out of pocket costs and insurance deductible. I didn't initiate this; the insurance company did.
