Alexander Apartments

Can’t understate what a relief this is: there’s almost no noise transfer between apartments. It’s one of the reasons I moved in and I’m glad it worked out. Responsive maintenance staff, quiet street, good light for plants, close to many cafes and gyms in the neighborhood. Building feels lived in and relaxed. Units are comfortable but a little small. Get a storage unit in the building if you can to make unpacking less stressful. I’ll echo what a previous reviewer said: the city patrols this neighborhood regularly and you will get a ticket if anything is off with your car/parking.

I lived here for three years since 2021 and moved in recently at the end of November 2024. This is a small boutique apartment which makes it nice as you see the same people usually and feel relatively safe. One downside is that there aren’t really any amenities. They have a small gym and a community room which is tiny as well. Since rent has gone up and uptown isn’t what it used to be, not sure if the price point is enough to stay. Considering you can get other apartments with more amenities at the same price. Love how close it is in uptown to the lake, bars, and restaurants. This was my first time moving out into my own place and I’ve really enjoyed the experience so far. The building always feels clean and comfortable, I can tell how much effort maintenance and management really cares. I like my neighbors and it feels like a community here. The reason I chose to live here over any where else was honestly the vibes of the building itself, when I was touring the first time I could imagine myself living here and having a life here. The layouts here are really cool and I feel like my apartment is the perfect amount of space and quality that I needed and that it’s worth its price. I have no real complaints only that parking is sometimes difficult to find but other than that I really love living here.

I've been living at the Alexander apartment building for 2 years now and really enjoying it. The apartments and the building are well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and responsive. I enjoy the rooftop and community room and appreciate the workout room. I had a pretty extensive and significant maintenance need last year; although that was a big inconvenience, the Alexander staff really did do a lot to make this right. The primary maintenance staff were helpful and explained everything that they were going to do to solve it and the management staff accommodated my living situation in the meantime. Overall, I would definitely recommend Alexander Apartments.

3 months in at Alexander Apartments, very pleased with the helpfulness and friendliness of the team, the location, the building — I thought it would be noisier but the building is sound proofed well. While I’ve had only one need for maintenance support — they were speedy with quality work.
