Alexan Lower Greenville

We've lived here since Jan. 2022, and we're about to renew our lease because we love it so much! They didn't ask me to write this review, but with us renewing, I thought it was a good opportunity to share our experience in hopes that it helps someone else in their search! OUR APARTMENT: The larger 2B/2B It's well-built, and we've never heard our neighbors on either side of us. I don't love the finish on the flooring, but I do love that they have soundproofing built in under it. The fridge feels small, but my previous apt had one with the pull-out freezer on the bottom. The provided washer and dryers do the job, but the washing tub is smaller than most; though, we're still able to wash a king duvet or queen comforter (as separate loads) without any issues. It has been a wonderful 5 years at the Alexan Lower Greenville. Thank you for all your help and service over these 5 years. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff, amenities, pool, monthly community activities, and so much more made this an amazing place to live. It truly felt like a home!

I lived at alexan for three years. While living at alexan I could see how downhill things were going. Staff became less warm and friendly and considerate. Doors, gates, golf simulator, dog wash…etc always being broken and take weeks to months to fix. Not to mention it looks like someone is living in the back corner of the garage with how much furniture is back there. This place is not clean either… cleaning crew cleans lobby and the elevator doors from what I have seen but not the halls or windows. I could barely see out of my living room window it was so dirty and never once did they have a window washer come. I’m not quite sure what you pay for when you are living here. I’ve had a great experience living at Alexan Lower Greenville. The building itself is beautiful, clean, modern, and well-maintained with high-end finishes and amenities (pool, golf simulator, paw spa). My unit had everything I needed: in-unit washer/dryer, great natural light, etc. The location was a huge plus. It is seconds away from Lower Greenville. The parking is secure, and I never had an issue with somebody parking in my spot. Staff-wise, the office and maintenance teams were consistently helpful and responsive. Any issue I had was handled quickly and professionally, which definitely made things easier. They always remembered my Corgi and gave him treats. My husband and I were going to live here, but there weren’t any units available, the amenities and apartments are beautiful but the walls are paper thin. We liked it so much that we told our friends to look into it, we have two friends living there now, and as a tenant I could see it being an amazing place to live, HOWEVER, as a visitor I absolutely HATE IT! They have over 400 units and only 4 visitor parking spaces!!! When I asked leasing where I should park when coming over they said Sam’s which 1. It’s illegal and 2. it’s a block away. I don’t like having to walk a block at night with my baby in order to be able to visit my friends. Poorly designed!! How can you expect your tenants to have no visitors!
