I am writing on behalf of the residents of Sardis Trace in Charlotte, North Carolina, to formally express our urgent concerns regarding recent changes to our rent collection procedures. Significant modifications have been implemented that disproportionately affect our community, particularly those residents aged 55 and older, some of whom have lived here for over a decade. We were provided with only three days' notice to transition from our long-standing payment methods, which historically included money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks. Furthermore, the onsite mailbox has been removed and the office mail slot has been securely bolted shut. I lived at the apartments thru this company for 12 years my mom died being on hospice at home in August! I left and let them know I was leaving before my next rent was due and now I’m trying to get an apartment on my own bc I have no one now and it’s my first time on my own and no one in the office will answer the phone so I can take care of this balance ! I have leukemia and this is so stressful and they won’t help me so I can get this taken care of. I didn’t even know I was on the lease I thought I had to sign papers bc I lived there in the house with my mom and Myra the woman that’s the apt manager at creekside apts in Easley sc SHE IS HORRIBLE! SHE IS NOT NICE AND SHE DOES NOT HAVE A HEART FOR ANYONE NOT WVEN WHEN MY MOM DIED! SHE SAID SHE WOULD SEND ME A GOID REF TO GEF MY APARTMENT A

My sister has been looking for an apt for awhile She was so excited to hear that she would be getting an apt that fits her budget. But when she arrived to the main office the secretary told her she didn't qualify. The application did not state that these apts were based on income. She barely made the cut off and they took the 85 dollars which is supposedly not refundable. This is false advertisement!! If she knew that she didn't qualify she wouldn't have applied. Beware of this company because they have people applying for these apts when they don't advertise the income requirements.

This is the worst property management company I’ve ever encountered!! I’ve been living in one of the properties for 6 years brand new development!! They have shown new in my leasing office and they literally don’t do anything. I’ve put in a ticket for the all the roaches in my unit and the leasing office lied and said that they came in and fumigated my unit. I’m like how did you do that when my animals are inside , then she spoke with maintenance and he said yes we didn’t go in because of the animals. Then I called back because they just closed my ticket without letting me know what’s going on. She then Proceeds to tell me that pest control only comes once a month I said OK. Horrible management company, absolutely horrible. All of their properties are in terrible, crime-ridden areas yet they charge an arm and a leg for them. They hire a skeleton office staff as well as a skeleton maintenance staff, and the employees understandably just can't keep up. If they're charging all of this money for apartments, why can't they adequately staff their properties??? I moved into one property and it was terrible. Even the maintenance guy was apologizing to me because he said the office mixed up my move-in date. Then they transferred me to another property on Texas Avenue and it was even worse! Roaches all over the place, old dirty appliances, and the walls had only been spot painted. The office was always closed and no one ever answered the phone!
