Run away from these scam artists! Poor communication, sloppy work, lies and more lies. They designed our ADU without any design specs for the roofing. We asked for the missing design element repeatedly. No replies. So our building contractor guessed three times, failing city inspections, costing us thousands extra in labor. Finally ADU Geeks gave us - I'm not joking - a hand-drawn sketch of the design. It was like a second grader's art project. The contractor couldn't understand it. The city inspector laughed at it. Finally, CEO Xavier responded to us. He said they would give us the missing roofing design for $675 more. Classic fraud move. Trap the customer in a corner, ask for more $. Hoping to leave ADU Geeks in the rearview mirror, I paid the ransom. The same day the city inspector took

⭐ 1 Star Review Our experience with ADU Geeks has been extremely disappointing. We began working with them nearly two years ago with the goal of building an ADU on our property in Los Angeles, and despite that amount of time passing, construction has still not started. Throughout this process, the biggest challenge has been the lack of consistent communication and overall project management. Over the course of our time working with the company, it has been very difficult to get clear updates on the status of our project. Many emails and phone calls requesting updates have gone unanswered or required repeated follow-ups before receiving a response. When we do hear back, it is often from a different person each time, which makes it difficult to maintain continuity or understand who is resp

Poor communication, poor customer service, very slow work, expensive and not open to customer feedback. I started on this project with ADU Geeks on July 2023 where I paid for a project analysis/feasibility study and talked about what I wanted for the project. 2 members of ADU Geeks were there and I told them I wanted the entrance on the right side of the building. This was very important to me. They said it can be done. Everything seemed great and I decided to move forward with them. I get the first design back and the entrance is on the left side (through my neighbor's front yard) and now they tell me the entrance can't be on the right side. They didn't even communicate this with me prior to completing the design. Xavier was able to assist with this and move the entrance to the backyar

The ADU geeks were great with my clients! They helped determine size, scope and costs for adding ADU's to the property. The were honest, experienced, and not pushy. I highly recommend them. Gregory Glassman, Broker Associate Coldwell Banker West

Im a very active commercial real estate agent and investor in San Diego. Dealing with the city permitting department is a long and lengthy process with delays and surprises at every turn. Sometimes it feels like going 2 steps forward and 1 foot backwards, especially with a complex project like I have converting 5 attached garages into 5 micro ADUs. I am 1.5 years in and still a few months from completion with the project. Thankfully I have had ADU geeks to help me navigate the design process, commercial building code, city ROW, contractor references, etc... Even after plans were approved by the city, we hit a roadblock with the water dept that caused me to go back to the drawing board and actually upgrade a waterline and submit plan changes with the city. ADU geeks came back to the rescue
