I have worked with Richard Aitken builders twice now for a property on Long Beach Island. People warned me that they would not be helpful for smaller jobs and yet I have found the complete opposite. In all cases, replacing Anderson windows or built-in AC wall units, they were very professional, always on time, extremely clean and efficient with time. The office staff is professional and great about all follow-up. Thank you -

We were very pleased with the professionalism of Jim S and his sidekick in replacing the flat roof section at our home and doing the leak protection work at our chimney. They worked both inside and outside of the house. After they completed their work, they left the house in a clean condition – just like they were never there. A few years ago, they also worked on our addition and we could not be more pleased - that's why we used them again. Don't hesitate - these folks are fantastic at what they do.

Very competent, professional and reliable builder. Done on schedule. Great support staff. Great off of season and all year service department. Highly recommended. Rick and his company did a gut rehab of our Barnegat Light beach house. Highly satisfied with the relationship.

Frustrating. I left a message in Bob's voicemail regarding a window issue...no call back. I called again 10 days later, spoke to a man who would "call tomorrow or Monday to get me in the schedule*...still no call back...and again 2 weeks have passed. Totally understand if you don't want to do this kind of job, just say so.....frustrated by lack of follow-up! For the record, these guys did similar work for MIL several years ago and were fantastic! Responsive, quality workmanship, no issues!
