Can’t understate how disappointing our experience was with Mary Allen Realty. First, upon arrival, the house we rented for the week was not very clean. We found multiple popsicle sticks on the floor and the house was completely infested with ants. Not just in the kitchen, but everywhere. Bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, everywhere. We asked our realtor, (who we won’t name here) if they could send someone out to spray for the ants. When the maintenance man showed up to our house, they saw we had brought our dog. Last year we rented this exact same property and brought our dog, and have emails exchanged getting the ok that we could bring our hypoallergenic, poodle. We have been renting our summer vacation with Mary Allen Reality. Specifically Joanne Delaney for 9 years!!! She goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best stay on the island…. I cannot express how kind and professional she is! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone I know!!!!!

Overall, our stay at Seaplace was enjoyable however I was extremely disappointed with Mary Allen Realty and the unprofessionalism of realtor, Joanne Delaney. The unit did not appear to be renter ready when we arrived. Sand in the beds and dirty counter tops were the least of my concerns. Upon entering the property a strong odor of burnt marijuana was detected immediately. Upon opening the kitchen cabinet i discovered drug paraphernalia and a lighter in plain site. When we finally reached out to Joanne to address these issues, we were met with opposition and excuses rather than a simple apology. Why can I say…when my property I rented for a week this summer fell through because of the property owner, Lois Dornan, made sure to my family a better place to rent in no time at all. To say I appreciate all the help I was given is an understatement. I could not be happier with my experience. Amazing customer service and a great effort to make sure we did not miss out on our vacation!!!

Mary Allen realty (Lexi) are truly amazing people!! On June 29th we lost the original place we were staying for the July 4th week! Feeling hopeless we called and searched every online source one can think of!! Then by divine intervention we came across Mary Allen realty and while everyone we spoke to said it’s impossible to find something for the 4th of July week at this time Mary Allen (Lexi) went to work calling us back and working diligently to find us a place so we didn’t have to break a promise to the children. Mary Allen (Lexi) came through big time finding us a place! We booked it sight Unseen based on the trust we felt for Lexi. We just arrived the place is right on the beach and it is beautiful clean and spacious just like Lexi said!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!’ Lexi
