Several negatives: The rent is getting too high for artist/ residents. The electricity bills are outrageously high. The Electric co. charges too many extra fees and doesn't give a fair amount of time to pay after we receive the bill. I am in 652 square feet and I am paying twice as much as my 1100 sq. ft 2 bedroom apartment at Jackson Flats another Artists Building. Plus we had free parking. The parking here you are charging $150 a month which tenants in the neighborhood don't even pay that much and they own their condos. As far as cleanliness, the building is kept really nicely and management is very helpful. The location is great. Requests for work to be done: Fix the fireplace in the Club Room and create more studio spaces. I for sanding furniture and one for finishing wood
This place is really cool! Visited during the Art-A-Whirl event. Interesting blend of modern aesthetics with industrial era architeture. Basement was roped off for residents only and we only got to see the ground floor level. Kinda jealous of the people who get to live here haha.
Love the history and the feel of this beautiful space! The amenities? Too many to list here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've been living here 6mnths now & it's an awesome place 2 call home. It's a quiet, well kept & very clean place to live. The name says it all. There's plenty of work spaces here 2 use & catered towards whatever u're artistic needs may be. I personally love the 20ft high vaulted ceilings w exposed beams. U would normally expect a loft style home 2 b drafty but mine is surprisingly well insulated. The neighbors are all so friendly as well. Tell the office what u're needs & wants are. The manager Scot is great at finding & matching u with a place here that suits u. This place is 2 good 2 pass up if u're looking 4 a place 2 call home.
I love living in A Mill and it’s definitely my favorite place I’ve lived! The community here is great and I love meeting fellow artists and creatives throughout the building. The view from my unit is magical and I appreciate all of the amenities our building offers. The office staff are very helpful and welcoming and are always able to answer questions I have and assist. I have had a wonderful experience living here and would highly recommend it to an artist looking for a cool space to live. Happy to call A Mill home!
