Don’t be swayed by the 5-star reviews… maintenance hands out cards asking for reviews after every service call, which skews the ratings. To be fair, maintenance was responsive and the building was generally well-kept. I also rarely heard my neighbors, which was a plus. That said, my overall experience was poor. The leasing office and building manager made living here unnecessarily stressful. My lease charges were wrong at move-in, requiring me to pay more than agreed upon, and I was repeatedly told one thing and experienced another. It became a pattern. A few things worth knowing before you sign: there is no 24-hour concierge, and the gym and other amenities are actually located in the building next door, not the one you’d be living in. I would not recommend this place.

I have been here for thirty days. The service is unreal. I put a maintenance request on the app, people at my apartment before the day is over. I got the best view of DC on top of my apartment. Very nice gym. Security is on point. I visited many apartments but 901 W was my fourth visit of that day, it was also my last visit too. The rest has been history.

Within the year I have lived at 901W, I have enjoyed my stay. The amenities are top-notch and the staff is friendly and always available for anything that I need. From the concierge desk to the maintenance staff specially Jose which I always practice my Spanish with. Sam The Manager is very professional and kind and Elisha is wonderful to work with! She is always available to support me with my needs as a resident. Any questions or concerns that I have, she responds promptly and efficiently. She is always professional and courteous. Thank you, Elisha for all that you do for our community!

We moved into this building early June of 2021 and overall have had a great experience!! Concierge is extremely friendly and the design of the units are beautiful! Pros: Apartments are spacious, amazing amenities with the gym, pool, lounge, and rooftop sitting ares, concierge is always super helpful and nice, close to lots of restaurants and activities, super close to the metro, they offer a lot of cool services, and host pretty sweet events, feels safe! Cons: They recently got rid of concierge but I do still see them occasionally so hoping that they are bring that back full time, wifi doesn't always work at the ideal speed I'd want it to even though I'm paying for the top tier wifi, there are only 2 elevators so it tends to take longer to get out during morning rush times or evenings (

One of the elevators (there are only two) has been out for over a month. Last email we got was in November 21st, saying repairs would be completed no later than the 26th. It’s December 4th and no one has heard anything since. They did send an email on the 24th when the other elevator broke to tell us that both elevators were broken, but no status update on the elevator that was supposed to be fixed on the 26th. If you move here, avoid the upper floors because the elevators break, they take forever to repair them, and won’t communicate when they don’t.
