Mark and the team at 8 West managed my mom’s apartment for the last 8 years. This is a 100-year-old property in Banker’s Hill, so it needed frequent attention. The 8 West team has been awesome! They responded immediately to every issue, found cost effective and quality solutions, and kept my mom and her tenants happy. Whenever there was turnover (very low) they were able to find quality tenants and lease the unit very quickly. Mark understands all the rules and regulations – both in San Diego and California – and made sure the building always complied. I’d recommend 8 West to any property owner. We really appreciate all they have done.

I’ve owned my condo at the Santee town villas since 2016. Although I’ve not had many issues to deal with since 8 west completely stays on top of the grounds, I do want to praise Melissa and mark for their attention to detail and always making any and all communication was promp. HORRIBLE COMPANY! :-( I recently filed complaints with the CSLB, DRE, and Attorney General's offices, which are currently being reviewed. A CSLB Supervisor called me yesterday and we spoke for over an hour and 10 minutes about various issues. He said although what 8West is doing may not be illegal, what they are doing is highly unethical, and certainly not professional, or acceptable in the industry. He suggested firing 8West/Mark, and finding a new company, which I plan to do as soon as all three Government complaint reviews are completed. I have an appointment next week to discuss legal remedies with an attorney. STAY AWAY!!!!!
