I absolutely love living here. The community is clean, quiet, and feels very safe, and the apartments are well maintained. The staff is friendly, responsive, and genuinely cares about residents, which makes such a difference. Any maintenance requests I’ve had have been handled quickly and professionally. The location is also a huge plus…convenient to the Village District but still peaceful. I’m really happy to call this place home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great apartment community. I have been pleased with the proactive communication and kindness from the management. Shout out to Ryan and Jermaine on the maintenance team - your hard work does not go unnoticed.
I lived here for 2 years and a few months. While I could easily give 5 stars for my first two years, recent changes have unfortunately dropped my overall rating to 4. The main pain point is the rent increases pretty much every year, especially since the base rent was already quite high. One funny thing is that after I moved out, I saw my exact unit listed for rent well below what I was paying! At the same time, shared amenities started failing in the last few months: the gym was closed for a long time, the parking garage gate was often broken and left wide open, and there's been constant construction work around the apartment. Despite these issues, there are still advantages. The location is fantastic, and the neighbors are quiet and friendly. The units themselves are average but benefit
The property is very poorly maintained. The coffee machine was out of order the vast majority of the time I tried to use it. The elevator that is closest to the trash chute was also out of order numerous times throughout my lease. There were about 4 power outages the last 5 months of my lease that seemed unrelated to weather, which is a big inconvenience for those working from home. Contractors were re-caulking the parking garage for what seemed like months, which resulted in the garage reeking of an intense chemical smell during that time. The pool opened late because they were doing renovations. The gym was closed from August to December due to flooding; management originally stated it would be ready much sooner, but kept pushing the re-opening date back. Social events for the r
The worst management ever. If you would like good communication and timely responses don’t live here. It took them an entire month just to send me my lease renewal. If I hadn’t kept bugging them about it who knows how long I could have just kept staying here without a current lease.
Cosmetic improvements like painting or cleaning the hallways are only done ahead of scheduled visits by corporate. However, the gym has been closed for months and the parking garage gate breaks down constantly, posing a security threat. In addition, the new leasing agent, Abigail, has a rude demeanor. On multiple occasions, she has ignored our concerns like when we’ve reported violations of community policies, such as the no-smoking rule. In one instance, a simple “Good morning” was met with, “What’s wrong now?”—an obviously rude and unprofessional response. She seemed annoyed by our presence and made us feel very unwelcome.
