Current tenant. It’s surprisingly nice and quiet given the location. There’s easy access to the Hudson River park and Hudson yard. The management is quick in everything. Front desk is very quick on the package claiming. Live here for 1year and half so far
I lived in this building for three years and it is one of the best building I've seen in Manhattan. The staff is super helpful and the amenities are all well-maintained. Sound proof and pest control are spectacular. I also love the building for not being too large so that the residents have a small and friendly community. Sadly, I had to move out because I'm going back to school again, but I'm happy for the great memories here.
First and Foremost, let me just say living in a building development such as 535 is everything. Amongst the architect, the amenities and the living spaces. Let’s not forget to include how nice and Courteous the management team and concierge was at welcoming me as their new resident. Big ups to Deveion who especially went and above and beyond to made sure that my needs were met. It’s clear they are not discriminatory at all, and that in itself says a lot about the community and the living spaces. So thanks. I would recommend
Great building, but unfortunately last three years dealing with marijuana odor coming into my unit from the downstairs neighbor. Property management is not able to do anything even after the same neighbor threatened us outside of the building. So the management gave us two options: 1. Move into another unit at our expense and pay $1500-$2500 more per month, depending on the unit that we choose to move into. 2. Break the lease and move in somewhere else. We will be moving out this year for the sake of my family's health. Also, elevators keep breaking frequently. Stuff is very friendly and helpful the only reason I add a star. This review will be updated after the problem is resolved! Update: February 1St, 2025 The problem got even worse, the marijuana odor got even stronger! Day and night!
Today I took a tour with Chase and I had an amazing tour. I adored the unit he showed me. I was very interested. He showed me the gym, outside court yard, and cute game room the building has as well. I am hoping in the next few weeks. I will be moving in.
