2185 on Wisconsin Townhomes

We lived here for the first year they were opened and were the first to move in. The location is great, very close to both downtown Cedarburg and Grafton, and has everything close by that you would need. Unfortunately there are many negatives. One is the minimal parking available for residents and difficulty for deliveries since there is no where to stop in front of the units. Also, the buildings are poorly built, being extremely cold in the winter and the upstairs being very warm in the summer. The owners installed baseboard heaters that did not solve the issue at all and only added to the very high utility bills. We fought with We Energies the entire time we lived here and still are. The building owner did not want to take any ownership of the issues that were brought to light and ignore

We had a very good experience renting a townhome here. The location was convenient, with easy access to the Sendiks. It was so close that sometimes we walked when we knew there was going to be a light trip to the store. With all the festivals that go on between Cedarberg and Grafton, and the resulting road closures, we found it nice to have easy access to both Wisconsin Ave and Green Bay Rd without any impact to our commute. The size of the space suited us well, offering enough room to live comfortably for us, our 2 kids, and dogs. We also appreciated the new-build feel; everything was modern and clean. We called the 2185 townhomes our home for a year. We loved being so close to downtown Cedarburg and Grafton. The management was very responsive when we ran into issues and we loved how accommodating it was for our dog. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for apartments in the Grafton area.

Who thought it was a great idea to build townhomes right next to railroad tracks? Then charge an insane amount of money for rent?
