1221 Van

I've been loving living here, but the doorman, Josh, has really been such a special part of my experience. He always greets me with a smile and knows my name, which makes coming home feel so welcoming. He's super helpful with packages and always goes the extra mile

I do not recommend this place for a few reasons. 1) When facing the bullpen, it is quite loud multiple days a week during the warmer seasons. I have no problem with the Bullpen and love the space to enjoy outdoor music, parties, etc. However, prior to signing my lease, I asked about noise and was assured that it wasn't noisy (that was incorrect). This can be problematic for those easily over stimulated by noise. They also switched concierge service groups, and the newer (there have been a few it seems) concierge groups did not compare to the old group that made the place feel so homely (although there are a couple awesome folks, I am talking as a whole). The older group would go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Those are the kind of folks that make a place a home. This comple

5 Stars! My wife and I recently signed a lease at 1221 Van, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Charles, our leasing agent, was fantastic — he got us in for a tour on short notice and showed us a beautiful unit that ended up being the perfect fit for us. The building itself has incredible views of Nationals Park and top-notch amenities that really set it apart. From the rooftop spaces to the fitness center, everything is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. The entire process was smooth, professional, and welcoming. We’re excited to call 1221 Van home and are so thankful for Charles’ help in making it happen!

Josh at the Front Desk is incredibly helpful, goes above and beyond, and is truly great at his job! He is very helpful when it comes to scheduling guests, booking the loading dock, and helping with packages. Josh is the best!

It's now been 3 weeks since I moved into 1221 Van and it's been fantastic. From the moment I toured this apartment it felt like home. Incredible amenities and views of the DC skyline were the cherry on top. 24/7 security makes this place feel extremely safe for all residents. The community manager, Russ, has been extremely helpful in every aspect of my experience. From the warm hospitality he’s shown to the consistent attention in making sure all of my needs are addressed, Russ has gone above and beyond. His responsiveness and proactive support have made the moving-in process smooth and stress-free, creating a welcoming environment that truly stands out. Thank you Russ and all of the staff involved!
