1221 Broadway Lofts

It's not perfect, but I still really enjoy it and it's the best way to live on the river walk in my opinion. There will be annoyances that add up over time, like the fire alarm testing or the water shutoffs, but they haven't been too bad for me overall. The concrete walls are super nice and the 24-hr convenience store is a godsend. One time a naked drunk guy stumbled into my apartment because I forgot to lock my front door, and the building staff were very helpful in finding out what happened. (Some of the 1-star reviews say the staff sucks, but I think you should just have realistic expectations of how much they can help you with something. They've been great for me.) Relocated here from out-of-state a month ago and am loving it. Cindy, Hailey and David are all great and have made my transition smooth and stress free. My maintenance requests have been handled lightning fast and same day. I chose a top unit away from Porta Rossa and it’s been SILENT, I love it. Also a big fan of the industrial look and exposed sprinkler system. I opted to rent a washer/dryer and use Verizon for wifi. Despite the cement walls, my reception has been fine. Plenty of free parking too. The Pearl and River Walk are minutes away and downtown isn’t too far to walk. Lots of nearby restaurants and hang-outs. Hops and Hounds / Elsewhere are convenient if you want to catch a game or just people watch.

We have overall loved our 3 years at 1221. It’s a beautiful and unique apartment complex. You can’t beat the proximity to the river and the community you’ll find yourself building. It is the most outstanding complex in the area with somewhat reasonable pricing. It is not perfect, the back elevator seems to be always out of service and we have had three different property management company’s since living here and it has been hectic. But overall we have enjoyed our experience here.

Daniel was fantastic! He came out to change the light bulb in my fridge, and when the first one wasn’t quite bright enough, he didn’t hesitate to go grab a second option that worked much better. I really appreciated that he took the time to make sure everything was just right instead of settling for “good enough.” He was efficient, professional, and incredibly kind throughout the whole visit. Bonus points: he was great with my dog, which always means a lot to me! Highly recommend Daniel if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about doing the job well.

I just want to start off by highlighting how seemless and stress free the staff at 1221 broadway lofts made it for me and my busy schedule through the entirety of application process. Shout out to Hailey and to Who ever brought her on board because she is a special one. From the moment i walked in to apply and far after recieving the keys to my beautiful loft she went above and beyond to make sure i was noticed, cared for, and happy along the process. She even went completely out of her way to unjam the coffee machine in the lobby and thoroughly cleaned it out just to make sure i got the coffee i asked for. She just really cares about people and is a huge part of the reason i choose to live here at the broadway lofts. Thank you so so much for you amazing costumer service and attentiveness.
