10 Halletts Point Astoria Apartments

Giving 5 stars to Monique for her patience and the cheerful manner in which she and her other colleagues in management have helped me try to get the best deal. The buildings are meticulous and lovely. Waterfront views are charming and (for me) make up for the area being slightly secluded

Beautiful building with fantastic water views outside of the hustle. I love all the amenities here, the 4 the floor BBQ terrace has beautiful view of the city. The staffs are nice and keep the whole building nice and clean. The only down side is it’s far away from the subway station and the bus seldom follow its schedule. Although the building has its own shuttle, it’s barely on time, which makes the commute not so easy. It’s several block away from the Astoria park, where you can enjoy the sunset and exercising. The neighborhood here is a mix, during the day time is fine, but needs to be alert during the night time in certain area. But overall, it’s a nice place to stay.

My husband and I have been in 10 Halletts for 5 years. We actually moved in when there was nothing around and the building was still under construction (literally). We have met some of the most wonderful people here and truly enjoyed what Astoria, NY is all about! Greg is absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgable and goes the extra mile whenever you need anything. The concierge crew welcomes you home with a smile and is always ready to assist (shout out to Chevelle and Danielle). We stayed in a one-bedroom with a unique layout and the view was amazing. Now, with the new buildings, you barely have the view but it's still a great place to live. The building is safe and if you have a car, best to speak to Halletts Point Garage/City Parking to get an idea of monthly parking expenses. Gym lo

I absolutely LOVE living at Halletts Point. The staff is fantastic - maintenance is fast, the porters are great, every concierge knows my name and welcomes me home daily! As a single female and native NYer I feel incredibly safe here (not something I felt most other places I looked at.) Use some street smarts and common sense walking around the neighborhood and you’ll be fine. My dogs are welcome which is a huge stress-reliever. Yes, there’s construction noise, like everywhere in NYC, but it’s not at all intolerable and this is still one of the quietest areas you’ll find this close to the city. The ferry is super convenient for me working on the UES. There are also several buses and a free shuttle to the subway, restaurants, shopping, etc. They have some pretty cool monthly events like win

Be ready the management will not help you!! The building is located quite far from the train station. Building promises that they will provide the transfer to train station and back from Mon-Fri, but they NEVER!! Never follow the schedule. This is ridiculous, unprofessional and simply stupid! Especially in a winter when it’s crazy cold outside, u simply standing there awaiting for the miracle, getting freezed till death! Drivers of the transfers upon their own will are doing their usual routes, seems like never looking on a clock!! Multiple complaints and letters are not making any justice. If you want to lease the apartments here and you don’t have your own car, think 10 times, cuz you will spend major part of your income joyfully riding UBER instead of free transfer that they promise.
