Zen Apartments

Worst apartment complex ever. Very dirty. Don’t care about the residents at all. My son just got back from winter break and can’t get into his apartment, called every possible number and opened an urgent ticket in the portable and none will respond. My son has been in the 16 degree weather for 3 hours.

Here's how it was living here: ~July 2023: manager got physically threatening when confronted with appliance and AC issues in her office (Theres been different management every few months) -central ac never worked, only blew warm air even after confirming settings were accurate, after doing maintenance and sending email to all residents stating it was fixed, and even after more major updates done to ac unit -central heat never worked -threatened to take away provided window ac units, told residents personal ac units were not allowed even though the central unit was never able to cool apartment lower than 85°F -stove did not work upon move in, was given false updates for a month until I confronted manager abt it -October 2023: roof was not patched correctly, came home to a waterfall i

This apartment BEGS for good reviews as soon as you speak to anyone, so do NOT believe any of them. The reality is, the pool is green whenever they don't have to impress new renters, and the apartments are so old that maintenance told me they had so many leaks and floods across their properties that they could not deal with mine in a reasonable timeframe. My apartment was flooding repeatedly, and I received little to no help. I had to call the fire department to stop a flood because maintenance went to the wrong apartment, or just never showed up. The apartments are roach infested. I saw multiple roaches inside every night during the spring and summer. I ended up having to leave my apartment for long periods of time because the heating and AC rarely worked, and there were so many roaches a

I love my apartment! So spacious and comfortable. Luckily i’ve been able to contact Javier to quickly fix any issues i’ve had during move in. He’s very fast and responsive, always gets things done right when you ask!!

This has been one of the absolute worst living situations I have ever been a part of. Non responsive management since Valiant took control, invasive policies regarding parking, and complete disregard for our livelihood. "Emergency" maintenance requests are ignored for 9+ hours (and counting) and my partner and I have been continuously harassed about renewing our lease even though we have made it abundantly clear via submitting an intent to vacate notification that we do NOT intend to renew our lease. Run away.
