X-Urban Construction

Just starting a project with The Cottage Company. When meeting with Ken I can say I felt very welcomed. He answered any and all questions. I did not feel rushed at all. Very easy to talk to. Can't wait to get the project started. The original post was a 5 star and was over 1 year ago. The project is still a work in progress. More review to come with pictures. Hoping things get better soon.

Haven't done business yet, but the owner, Ken, is more helpful than any construction company I've talked to, sending a property checklist while we're looking at lots, he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me answering questions no commitment to anything. Great experience so far.

We decided to build the house with them thanks to Todd. Unfortunately the company lost one of the best. I have to say that the Cottage company work with the best there are in the area. Construction workers, floor installers, electrician, plumbers, painters, ect. Their work has the best quality. Paula the coordinator, is good, but is harsh on her comments when she talks or text. Because this is her day to day she lose the perspective that is a HUGE deal for the customer. She totally lacks empathy. David, the foreman is excellent, great attitude and always willing to give the extra mile. Having a construction during a pandemic is kind of crazy but they (HE) did pulled it off. My only complain it that they started the project sharing pics on a weekly basis and then we need to beg for 1

Great company to do business with. Communicates on every level. Ken, the builder is very creative and has built some beautiful homes in the Lake Placid area.

Great company to work with. My dad is having a home made and Todd has been very helpful with the process. So far very satisfied overall.
