I called about rentals they may had. Ad in the paper said that pets were negotiable. Was told that the property he was telling me about never had pets in it previously, but the owner would "go along with what I say" From the pauses, I could tell he was making up an absurd amount of a deposit for each pet that I have. I spent enough years as a police dispatcher to know when i was being fed a line. He didn't sound professional, he sounded like someone who was trying to line his own pockets after finding out what I did for a living.
