Winter Ridge & Montclair Apartments

I would strongly caution anyone against choosing this complex. Back in June when temperatures were hitting 110° a day, my A/C unit broke and it took a combined total of 30 days to resolve because the complex did not want to pay for a responsive vendor or expedited shipping on the unit. It broke twice in the span of 72 hours, indicating a real incompetence issue with their operations staff. I had to evacuate the unit and move from house to house with my animals because the internal temperature of the unit was hitting 95° every day for a month and it never dropped below 89°. The state of SC would press charges against anyone who would leave their animals or child in a car at the same temperature because of the danger to life that can happen. I do not recommend living here. Crystal is extremely rude and judgmental, and I felt uncomfortable based on how I was treated. She says one thing and then later switches up, which makes it hard to trust anything you’re told. Maintenance and management lack professionalism. The most unacceptable experience was maintenance walking into my unit without a 24-hour notice, while I was naked, which was completely inappropriate and a serious violation of privacy. Overall, poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and no respect for tenants. I would not recommend this property to anyone

Hi there!! My partner and I are currently without AC. We called the emergency maintenance number at 2am last night. We are so fortunate to have Domoneek on our side!! He came not even 20 minutes after we called with a portable AC Unit. Even though they are steady working on the unit, D was kind enough to check on us:) We are praying for AC, but thankful we have good rounded maintenance guys!

Advice to incoming tenants: Be sure to keep copies of every document signed with this company. They've been unable to locate a signed lease in the past and over charged for rent as a result. I had to provide my own copy of the lease as proof that I had signed another term with them. Some of the buildings are 30+ years old, ask about which area the apartment is in to decide if the rent sounds fair. There are duplicate building numbers! Prepare to have deliveries botched because of this. Lighting is poorly managed, too many shadows with their new blue white LED outdoor lights and poorly lit parking lots. Brighter does not mean safer if it increases the amount of hiding places for anyone intending harm. Our eyes need time to adjust from brightly lit spaces to dimly lit ones. Which has not b

The staff here treated my mother like shit. We've been coming to them about annoying neighbors who play ridiculously loud music, and management did nothing; they don't care about their tenants, they only view us as dollar signs.
