Winston Apartments

Had such a great experience touring the 2 bed, 2 bath apartment today! Big shoutout to Brenda and Kyria for being so welcoming and helpful throughout the tour. They were super informative, kind, and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. The apartment itself was beautiful — spacious, clean, and had a really nice layout. Definitely left with a great impression thanks to them!

Ever since new management has taken over, things have gone bad. I was sent a letter from the regional manager and it stated that I needed to pay rent on time or other matters would take place. (Although big part of the reason I was behind since January was due to their employee giving me the wrong amount that I needed to pay off)I paid rent on time ever since and they still won’t renew my lease. I saw the regional manager come to the office and the property manager lied to my face and stated that she was not there. Once I came back to three hours later, I in fact, saw the regional manager, looked at the property manager and her face and saw it for what it was. These women blatantly lied in my Face and the regional manager had avoided all my phone calls previously that I have left for her.

I moved in April 2024. Since then I have had roach & mice problems. They’re in the walls. I’ve had all the holes plugged so I thought but they keep coming from somewhere. The wash house in my building was closed because none of them worked. The walls are super thin. The people who live above me have a baby & often I can hear it cry. I give it one star because the ladies in the leasing office are amazing.

If you got trash credit or an eviction don't apply here. They'll tell you you're fine just to get an application fee. I specifically called asking these questions and they told me I wouldn't have any issues if I made enough.

Current concern regarding pest control you need to clear out your entire cabinets shelves and closets. No regard for the inconvenience. I had pest control show up and was informed with written notice after. After then4th visit. The 5th notice states if you don't follow preparation for the visit you will be charged. Keep in mind EVERY letter has the same instructions. Check carefully and throughly Before or you will be blamed for a problem that was there before you moved in.
