Customer Reviews
This place has been our home for the last 5 years in NJ. We were lucky to have found this place during the pandemic and we didn't wish to move to anywhere else! The rental rates are very reasonable too, especially when this is a prime location, with close proximity to Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Marketfair's restaurants, and AMC theaters. We only moved out a month ago because we relocated to the West Coast. We love Windsor Woods!! It's a great community with lots of nature and greenery. The staff are very helpful and reliable. We find the maintenance guys to be very quick and responsive too. Once, my heater broke down during the winter. I called the emergency number after midnight, and Nick immediately came over and brought me a portable heater. I can't think of anything bad to say about thi
This property markets itself as luxury living, but completely fails to provide amenities that are now considered standard at most modern apartment communities. For over $2,700+ per month, the lack of electric vehicle charging is unacceptable. There are numerous electric vehicles throughout this complex, including my own BMW EV, yet residents have no way to charge at home. Meanwhile, surrounding apartment communities already provide EV charging stations as a basic resident amenity. This property has more than enough parking space to install chargers, but management has clearly chosen not to invest in improvements that actually benefit tenants. Calling this “luxury” while ignoring something as essential and future-focused as EV charging is misleading at best. At minimum, each building shou
I would give zero stars if I could. I stayed there for only one month and had to end my lease early due to moving back to my hometown. I paid two months’ rent for the lease break and another two months’ rent for the notice period. What’s worse, I’ve been trying to get my security deposit back for over three and a half months, and management has done absolutely nothing. No responses. No updates. No accountability. Instead, they simply passed me the contact details of their bookkeeping department and told me to follow up on my own—yet the bookkeeping department didn’t respond either. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It’s clear the management has no respect for residents or their money. A note for future tenants: If you have a full security deposit pending, insist on applying it
I was living there for 2 and half years. Overall my experience was good except the refund of my security deposit. The neighbor hood is very nice and calm. Management also responded very timely for any of my concerns but when I moved out this June they charged me 850$ from my security deposit. They listed three items but no evidence of the damage they are charging for. Charge 1 was 250$ for cleaning which i have no problem but for each bathtub repair they charged 300$ but i don't recall any such damage in my bathrooms. So, if you dont care about your security deposit, you can rent there. Just forget you security deposit they will charge you for even minor repairs.
We lived in Windsor Woods complex from Sept 2008 till Feb 2010, in the modern part of it, while my husband was a postdoc at Princeton university. Overall our experience was very positive. The location is great - it is very quiet and green, Princeton university and downtown are easily accessible by car, you are not far from the Princeton junction station to go to NYC. The apartment we lived in was brand new, fairly priced, lots of parking spots available. Our kids were small at the time, I could take them around the big green lawn behind the building complex in a stroller, really nice. Never too many people at the swimming pool! The only drawback was that the Manager lady at the time was quite unfriendly and not flexible ... Otherwise, we spent great time in Windsor Woods and made lifetime
