Windsor at Legacy Apartments

They have failed to properly ventilate the unit(s) next to mine that they are turning over for the next lease. Twice now. Manager admitted that the workers did not leave the doors or windows open or use equipment after resurfacing a bathtub last year after I complained about a chemical smell in my entire apartment. They refused to leave the other units doors or windows open since they didn’t have someone to monitor that outside elements like rain would get in. Even though I was having to leave mine open. Yesterday I came home and the same smell was present. Called the maintenance line and attempted to air out in my unit. Slept in it because I had no other choice and I pay rent for a living space… Woke up with headache that has persisted the day so far. Called maintenance again to see if an

I truly love living here. The office staff, especially Brenda, are personable, extremely helpful, and always go above and beyond to make residents feel valued. It really makes this community feel like home. Work orders are completed within a timely manner and Carlos always does a great job of explaining things.

Coming from 24 y/o M new to Plano area as of late 2024. Moved in sight unseen besides pictures I could find online. Paid around $1660/month base for a 14 month lease. My experience here was an overall positive experience, with some normal inconveniences to be expected with apartment living. Had no complaints from front office/management as others seem to have reported, especially from the Maintenance team and Carlos, who both saved my heating one winter when it went out and was one of the most friendly people in the whole place. We’ve toured Windsor at Legacy a few times while searching for a new home and have always had a positive experience with Shane Clay. He is professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about the community and surrounding area, which made each visit smooth and stress free. Shane took the time to answer all our questions, walk us through different floor plans, and explain the details clearly, never making us feel rushed or pressured. It didn’t work out here for us this time, but we’ll definitely come back again in the future.
