Windermere Voss Property Management

We (Hector Hernandez and I) went to Voss due to a recommendation from Donald Falk, our fantastic realtor for many transactions. When we first signed on, Voss had an agent who apparently preferred to work on the sales side rather than property management. Then Julie was working with us. She was on top of everything and was loved by the tenants. She left the firm; it seems she hadn't been treated fairly by management. That's not so much my concern except that she was replaced by someone who was quite the opposite of Julie. When I spoke with Richard Voss, I got the brush off. We began our relationship with Voss Property Management several years ago with what we thought was a good relationship which got better and better as we got better agents to help us with our properties. Our agent was very helpful and jumped on things before they could be a problem. We along with our tenants were very appreciative of her help. Then suddenly the individual who had been working with us and our tenants sought another job. After that things seemed to go quickly down hill. One of our tenants complained, but the concerns were not met. It was an issue of disastrous communication. I would not recommend Voss to anyone who might be looking for a property manager. This feedback refers to my experience since about 2013, prior to which I had a very positive experience. A few things to note that resulted in my poor recommendation: Attention to detail I've had a number of interactions with the Voss team, generally through email where I was requesting something be addressed or wanted something explained and the responses were short, sometimes one word, and lacking the necessary detail to clarify the situation. I understand the staff is busy but it often required me to follow up or call to receive further clarification which wastes time for everyone. I've used Windermere Voss to manage one rental house for over 8 years and a second rental townhouse for over 6 years. I live in another state, and things have been almost worry-free with them. Minor repairs are handled before I even know about them, and they find good tenants. I would definitely recommend them!

I've lived here 4 years, only in this past year have I needed to report an issue for maintenance. Zero action or even response to my request. The property has been sold & I reported issue again (same management) still zero results other than upsetting me. 😡 until now I have been very satisfied. Of course rent went up though. So we can pay more to be ignored 🙁 go figure.
