The house we rented was dirty and repairs/painting unfinished the day we moved in. After we finally moved out they pulled over $300 out of our deposit for a "house cleaning fee". When I specifically asked in an email if we could clean the house ourselves to avoid the fee and they said yes. Then when I called to ask why they charged us for cleaning even though we cleaned they said they had to check and cut contact for 2 weeks. I called every week for 4 more weeks after that and was given the same response. Ended up never getting the money back. Don't trust them. Take pictures of everything and save emails. Then expect to still get ripped off.
