Their agent submitted an expired offer for $40,000 less than asking price. We foolishly countered (signaling our eagerness to sell?). After the inspection, we were given “estimates” to fix things as leverage to lower price even more, putting us in the position of scrambling to find contractors on very short notice... my son had to break away from a work event as Ms. Lee had a signed rescission she threatened to submit by 9pm if he didn’t sign ...(this is where a “licensed plumber” requirement was erroneously left in, as our too-nice Redfin Realtor neglected to communicate the fact that the plumbing repair was already done.)
