I’ve lived in a lot of places around Portland, but Willamette Tower really stands out! The staff are great, the kind of people who actually remember you and make the building feel like a small community. The quality of the building itself is excellent too. Everything feels solid, new, premium and thoughtfully designed. The 22nd-floor clubroom is one of my favorite spots in the whole city… the views, the light, the quiet. It’s the perfect place to unwind. And the fifth-floor roof deck? Beautiful. Whether it’s coffee in the morning or a drink at sunset, it’s hard to beat that mix of comfort and skyline. So, yes! Willamette Tower feels like it was built with care; both in its construction and in the way the team runs it. I’m really happy to call it home!!
I moved in here in April 2025 into a two bedroom unit with my 10 year old kid. I was initially worried about downsizing from a much bigger house with privacy into an apartment, sharing walls with people that I’ve never met. I read the reviews prior to moving and some of them DID worry me a little. But I can say with 100% confidence that I wake up every morning to the most peaceful, incredible view of the river. The light that comes through the floor to ceiling windows from dawn to sunset is spectacular. My neighbors are all professionals, quiet, respectful, never had any issues with anyone. Management staff, Pyper, Sky, and Nolan are professional, responsive and thoughtful. They really run a tight ship and I appreciate that. Yes I did have some gnat problems in the summer and yes I do wish
UPDATE (3/8): I’m writing a follow-up review so prospective residents have a full picture of what the experience can look like after moving out. During our time living here, the building itself seemed nice and the unit was brand new when we moved in. However, the move-out process and what followed has been extremely frustrating. When we relocated for work, our employer paid the full amount the property requested to cover remaining rent, early lease termination, and concession repayment. After moving out, we were then charged additional damages. Our $400 security deposit was taken and we were told we still owed another $422. What has been most frustrating is the lack of clarity and accountability in resolving the issue. The documentation provided has been limited to a ledger and a few ph
Avoid living here, seriously. If you like being charged Mercedes Benz prices for crappy quality, then this is the place for you. I lived here for a year+ and this is an honest review. 1. Everything is built with terrible quality. The tour it will look good but once you start living in the apartment, you’ll notice the dryer doesn’t work, the fridge breaks down, and the floor comes apart. Everything is built cheap. 2. The dog park is poorly maintained. Beautiful site to see dog feces while taking your dog out in the morning. 3. There are only 3 elevators for 20+ floors. One of them gets reserved often for moving. Not to mention the door will close on you and take you to random floors if you don’t get your latch app ready within 0.00002 seconds. I’ve had the door hit me before. 4. Securit
I am obsessed with Willamette Tower! It is a beautiful building with awesome amenities. The location couldn’t be more perfect. I am a block away from the streetcar (I love public transit). There are yummy places to eat nearby along with my fave coffee spots. The view of the Willamette River is breathtaking. The upstairs co-op office space is super useful. The outside patio is such a great place to hang. And the doggie park is where my boys go meet up with their furry friends. The staff are friendly and helpful … especially Pyper & Nolan! : ) The service requests are answered quickly and the maintenance staff are cool. I seriously could go on all day about the epic-ness of Willamette Tower. DEF 5 stars!
