White Management

I’ve been a shareholder at a co-op in Riverdale, Bronx for over 10 years. I’ve never missed a payment. I’ve paid every maintenance increase, including the additional $300 they claimed was temporary—now they want to make it permanent and ask for an extra funds. All the while, White Management, under John White and the board has shown nothing but negligence, indifference, and total disregard for my health, home, and basic human dignity. Back in September 2024, I reported serious water intrusion in my apartment. I described the sound of constant running water behind my bathroom walls and showed visible ceiling damage. I reported roaches, which I later discovered were likely due to discontinued extermination services. I begged management and the board to take it seriously, to test for mold.

I’ve been living in on their properties for about 6 months and the experience with white management has been terrible. I needed a new mailbox lock as the previous owners left with the key.. they wanted to change me $50 to change… not a probably however it was going to be $50 for them to change it when they felt like it. They forgot to put in the order. Long story short I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and was able to change the lock myself. We had really terrible rain in September so there was water leaking from my windows..when I called they said they will get someone to waterproof the windows before it gets too cold…. Here we are in December and I have not been contacted..I’ve resulted in attempting to do it myself.

I have lived at a One Oakridge for many years. White Management has been nothing but professional and quick to respond to any issues I have had. They have even followed up at a later date to make sure the issues had been resolved and was satisfactory. During the storm our lower garage was flooded. They had people there the very next day fixing the boiler and we had hot water within 24 hours of the storm!. I know of some co-ops that still don't have hot water - 3 weeks later.

I am a shareholder in Oakridge where White Management has managed for my entire time living here. John and his staff have been nothing short of caring and respectful on anytime I’ve called with a concern. It goes well beyond customer service. Our building was recently renovated and after COVID and Ida its still running in the safest way possible. Thank you for making my home wonderful and safe!!

White Management handled two disasters incredibly. Number one the handling of the Covid pandemic. There were no deaths or serious outbreaks in our building! Number two the response time after that devastating hurricane Ida. Our lower garage was completely flooded along with the boiler room and elevator pit. Less than 24 hrs our boiler was back up and running along with our elevator. Hats off for a wonderful job!!
