Whispering Pines Log Homes

I am currently in the process of working with Whispering Pines on what I was trying to make a small inexpensive build. So far, I am disappointed in the service provided. After speaking with a representative, informing them of my budget, paying a $3000 non-refundable deposit, driving to the location for an initial visit and working through a design for several months choosing the least expensive options and finishes, I have been presented with an estimated final project cost of more than 50% above the top of my budget, with a cost per square foot equal to $434, far above the $300 mentioned in initial conversations. Dan and the team at Whispering Pines are wonderful to work with. Dan really listened to what we were wanting and had many great ideas. I would rate their customer service at an A+. Their homes are beautiful! If you are looking for that log cabin feel, you should definitely check them out.

We have have a lake home from whispering pines, and the construction is the worst. They wear hard to work with, and 20 years into it it is a piece of.junk.
