Whispering Cedars

Lived here for five years - you get what you pay for. Staff is hard to get a hold of unless they need something from you. Multiple times I drove up to speak with them only to find that the office was closed during business hours. The laundry facility is horrendous - machines regularly out of order, or not being able to process payment. Secure gate to enter the parking lot was nice when it was functioning over a year and a half ago! Continually got the runaround from staff that they were in the process of addressing the issue. The gate was never fixed, and I know of at least two cars stolen out of the parking lot during that time. Only live here if you need to save money, but I can assure you there are better facilities out there for the price than Whispering Cedars.

Be careful, the lady in the office is calling the crane for no reason and if you claim her, she will be very aggressive. She told me to stop doing things that she had all my information. I don't know what she means by that. If someone else goes through the same thing, report her, that's why it's illegal.

I recently moved out after experiencing a wonderful stay at Whispering Cedars Apartment Homes, Lynnwood. Leasing consultant Shir King is an amazing professional and goes extra mile to ensure all residents are having their apartment issues fixed instantly. I used to get email reply or call from her in couple of minutes after I reached out, even after moving out! I cannot forget the interaction with maintenance staff Issac, who listened and fixed all issues withing a day even though there was a shortage of staff at some time. Its parking lot is safe as it is open and large, occupying the space at the center of the large surrounding apartment complex. Really bad management. Liars took all the money from my security deposit under false claims. This is a scam. Dirty old apartments. Staff not helpful at all except the maintenance guy.

I have no idea how this complex managed to get a 4.5 star rating outside of bribing people. The cons: Management will close your maintenance tickets and gaslight you into thinking that any issues with their sewage system is 'just normal' which has led me to believe that they simply don't fix things, so I've stopped after 6 tickets and no issues resolved. Instead of using funds to remodel and repair their units, they chose to put in a 3rd swimming pool and add a gym. Dealing with the staff has been extremely pleasant otherwise, my complaints lie only with the management team for the decisions they make and how they've spoken to me, despite me never having missed nor been late on a payment in the 2 years I've lived here.
