Westwind Apartments

Very nice apartment complex. Lots of families. People don’t pick up their dog poop but management tries their best to enforce it. Isaac from maintenance is nice, quick, and efficient

Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. Westwind legitimately sucks for the following reasons. • Rent is overpriced for a decaying, 40 year old property with 7 foot tall popcorn ceilings and space issues. Foundations of the buildings are in disrepair. • Massive stray cat issue, management refuses to do anything about it. Cat poop all over the complex, have fun walking your dog. • Dog dispenser stations never kept up with. • Dumpsters with no enclosures, leading to trash strewn across the property. • Literally zero walkability/sidewalks, both within the property and leading out of it. This place just sucks. Surrounding area down Sam Bass and Londonderry is sketchy. • Dirty, unkept grounds. Pool and “dog park” are constantly disgusting. Literally been a dirty diaper in their “dog park

Between the foundation, causing floods and the massive cracks all over our apartment our living experience here has been a nightmare. The constant staff change feels like nothing is ever getting done, they will nickel and dime you over everything. You have to pay monthly fees for certain services, And yet you still have to do those services sometimes yourself or you will be charged extra money. It’s very clear they are desperate for money because at least half the buildings are empty and on my way out they constantly harassed me begging for me to sign a new lease essentially. Get out while y’all can.

I’ve been staying here since March I think , and I love the apartment community . I love that my apartment has a large backyard . I love that all my work orders gets completed in a timely manner .. I love Clair and Jane they are so sweet and understanding.. I also love that they keep the community nice and clean . I just wish they offered 2 bedrooms with backyards because my 1 bedroom is kinda small , I need a yard for my dogs so I had to settle for the 1 bedroom ..

Brad is an amazing representative for Westwind Apartments. He works tirelessly as one of the best maintenance crew members that I've seen in the almost eight years that we've been here. Yesterday (01/15/24) there was a burst water pipe in the gym that caused a water outage for three buildings, one of them mine. Even though it took a while, he and a contractor worked late until the repair was completed and our water service was restored. This isn't the first time by far that I've seen him work late into the evening and on weekends too. It's great to know we're in good hands when emergency repair services are needed.
